Peoria Rivermen Move To Hippie Radio

Minor league hockey's PEORIA RIVERMEN ink a new deal to air all games on INDEPENDENCE MEDIA Oldies WHPI (HIPPIE RADIO)/PEORIA for the next three seasons. The AMERICAN HOCKEY LEAGUE team's games are moving from WHPI's sister Sports WZPN (96.5 ESPN RADIO).

Team President/CEO BART ROGERS said, "We're pleased to have a radio home on HIPPIE for the next three seasons. Being able to air every single game live and without pre-emption is of the utmost importance for our fans. We look forward to continuing our relationship with INDEPENDENCE MEDIA."
